In the middle of 2020, during the lull between waves of the pandemic, several of our long-time supporters undertook incredible sporting adventures raising money for MAMA’s projects.
Duncan Sherlock walked the virtual London marathon raising £1450, well in excess of his £950 target.
Lucy Kirkpatrick ran the Manchester marathon in October, raising an amazing £801.
Two of our band 7 midwife colleagues from Wexham Park (Claire Litchfield and Gillian Allen) undertook to canoe from Abingdon to Windsor over two days in September, raising more than £1400 for MAMA. All these sums have been put towards our building project in Kyarushesha.
